Finally. A brick two story home: tall ceilings, en suite bath, front porch swing, huge back decks, yard for days, and a garden with a cherry tomato on top. This 2,822 square foot house was built in 1906, has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and 2 half baths. It was rebuilt from the studs for folks ready to move in and enjoy. The 2005 renovation included new plumbing, electrical systems, and windows. This was followed up in 2020 with a new furnace upstairs, new appliances, a tankless water heater, and front yard landscaping. The roof was replaced in 2022. Not to mention our personal favorites: the fireplace, the pocket doors, and the staircase banister, oh my! There is also an alley with plenty of space on the large lot to build a two car garage. The home has a private solar powered gate at the front for off street parking. It has been a joy to walk from our landing spot at cityhome to this sturdy house situated within walking distance from the Avenues, Federal Heights, downtown and the tree-lined strolling boulevard on South Temple. All this to say, we are accustomed to working with unique houses and great clients, but sometimes all the factors come together to give a house that something extra, call it the space in the place or the mood in the rooms, but the care over the years really comes through in this one. Whoever gets to live here is lucky. We aren't just saying this because we represent this beautiful old house and our fantastic clients; we've spent time here, and we can't say anything other than the truth. When you feel it, you can't help but say it. We love it here.
